It was a sunny day. Mathew was on the way home. There was a heavy traffic flow.
Mathew was so tired and thirsty. He decided not to use the overhead bridge which was provided for pedestrian crossing. He waited at the roadside to cross the road. He was waiting for several minutes and getting impatient. He dashed across the road and tripped himself. Screeched. He almost hit by a car. Lucky the driver gave an emergency braked. He sustained several injuries. His knee and hands were scratched and bleeding. It was a minor accident. The driver sent him home.
When he reached home, he told his mother what had happened. His mother thanked the driver for sending him home. His mother took him to a nearby clinic. He promised to use the pedestrian crossing provided in the future.
